I'm a software engineer based in Addis Ababa. I came to software from Electrical Engineering, and the switch stuck: I liked that you could have an idea in the morning and something people could actually use by the evening.Most of my work sits close to the data — dashboards, internal tools, and platforms that take a messy manual process and make it something a team can rely on. I care about the unglamorous parts: clear data models, honest error states, and interfaces that don't need a training session.These days I work mainly in TypeScript and Next.js with PostgreSQL underneath, and I'm happiest when a project spans the whole stack rather than a single layer of it.
